Beautiful property with a wide range of amenities. Check-in process was confusing and took way too long. Pool access was limited during our stay due to maintenance. The resort offers complimentary bike rentals, which is a great perk.

The beach access and beautiful views are fantastic. The check-in process took way too long, which was frustrating.

The property is perfectly positioned just a short walk from beautiful parks like Jolee Island Nature Park which is only a handful of minutes away and the vibrant Baytowne Wharf Boulevard that offers a ton of entertainment and dining options all around and you can find great food spots like Bijoux and Jon Smith Subs just steps away so you can easily grab a bite between adventures but the pool area could use a little more attention as it tended to get a little messy at times.

Great beach access and family pool. Limited parking space for our car though.

The Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort boasts an incredible layout with top-notch amenities. The various on-site dining options were delightful, and the comfortable beds ensured a restful night. I did encounter cleanliness issues in my room that need attention.

A mixed experience. The location is prime—easily accessible to the beach and lovely grounds. Beach drinks, while good, carry a hefty price tag. The staff is friendly, and check-in was seamless. the accommodations fell short. The room was cramped and outdated, with a broken laundry facility and an uncomfortable bed that impacted our stay. We faced a parking nightmare, and the promised walk to the beach was misleading. Communication from management was lacking; requests went unanswered. Cleanliness issues were disappointing, including an old drink left under the bed. With so many frustrations, I can't recommend this property. Improvements are essential for a smoother guest experience.

I was really disappointed when I got to my room; it was nothing like what I booked. The beds were uncomfortable, and the TV barely worked. Plus, the microwave was faulty. It just felt like a total letdown.

Great pool area with plenty of seating. The staff were friendly and quick to help when we needed extra towels.
It was pricey, but still worth it for the experience.

The views from our patio were stunning, just steps from the water! The resort shuttle made exploring so easy and fun! The staff were incredibly kind, especially Toni – she was a total gem!

The balcony offers a stunning view of the bay. The location makes it easy to access nearby attractions and the staff is generally friendly.
The overall cleanliness left much to be desired.

The initial room had flickering lights and inconsistent bathroom lighting. Jeukey promptly moved us to a spacious room, complete with a kitchenette that was well-decorated. The bathroom offered ample space, and the large terrace was a nice touch. We appreciated the cleanliness and stunning views. The tram service made beach access easy. Unfortunately, there were issues with parking and a lack of housekeeping throughout our stay. Some furnishings appeared outdated, and the bed felt cramped for three adults. Despite minor inconveniences, the stay was enjoyable with beautiful grounds for walking and exploring.

Charming resort, charming experience with convenient beach access and a friendly staff that quickly resolved our a/c issue.
Couldn’t fault.

Beautiful amenities and a location that makes venturing out unnecessary are definitely the highlights. The tram to the beach and village was a nice touch. my room was delayed until 5:30, and when I finally got in, I struggled with malfunctioning keys. The room itself felt outdated, with stains and lingering smells that were disappointing. It was frustrating to face confusion over building locations and parking woes, not to mention the long walk in the heat. Great potential here, but execution fell short, especially when celebrating a special occasion.

Just wanted to share my experience staying at Sandestin. it was a mixed bag for me. Let's start with the positives. The view from the room was absolutely breathtaking! I loved being able to see crabs, stingrays, and even dolphins from the comfort of my balcony. the cleanliness of the property was top, notch. Kudos to the cleaning staff for keeping everything in order. Now, onto the not, so, great parts. The bed in our room was a disaster , it felt like there was a black hole in the middle, making for a very uncomfortable night's sleep. The room itself felt a bit shabby, with beds on the verge of falling apart and a bathroom that looked like it was decorated under strange influences. And don't even get me started on the Wi, Fi. it was practically non, existent, which was quite frustrating. Another downside was the lack of clear information about dining options and amenities on the property. It would have been helpful to have a brochure in the room detailing where to eat and what facilities were available. I also found it inconvenient that there was no small store on, site for necessities like sunscreen or snacks. I had to Uber into town a few times to get supplies, which was a hassle. On the positive side again, the resort grounds were beautiful for walking around, and the tram service to the beach was a nice touch. the lack of availability of golf carts for non, boat arrivals and outdated bikes were a bit disappointing. Plus, the limited heated pool made it overcrowded, and the resort being 2 miles from the beach was a drawback as well. All in all, my time at Sandestin had its ups and downs. The natural beauty and cleanliness were definite highlights, but the issues with room comfort, amenities, and communication could use some improvement. Would I go back? Maybe, but I'd hope for a more comfortable bed and better on, site conveniences next time.

The accommodations at Sandestin are quite cozy, and the amenities are top-notch. The townhomes provide a perfect mix of golf and beach fun. The views are stunning!
Waiting hours for the room and keys was an absolute delight.

i had a great room located on the first floor at sandestin golf and beach resort. our patio opened up to a small courtyard which had a beautiful view of the bay. the resort is easy to get around and we enjoyed the baytown warf area, the beach side pool on the opposite side of the resort, and several other onsite restaurants. the hotel has a great beach access; however we spent most of our time in the 30a towns which are a short distance away. the resort is in the perfect location. right in between where you can find more touristy activities, shopping, and restaurants and the 30a towns which are much more low key and offer lots of great shopping and dinning as well. it is a short walk to the ocean and to the restaurant. putt putt golf and pool is only a short walk away. loved the accomodations n location. it was close to everything. good amenities, although we did not take advantage of them. i also loved that they had a transportation bus to take you around the resort, although i never found the bus stop near us. the staff were very friendly n tried to be as helpful as possible.

the property is very huge and clean, and our second condo was in a good location with a view of outdoor palms and trees. the tram drivers give out tons more information than the front desk and it's easy to take the shuttlebus to the beach.

Loved the big room with a kitchenette and beautiful bay view. Location was convenient with shopping, dining, beach access, and a store on-site. The private beach access made it easy to enjoy the stunning Destin beach.
Disappointed by outdated appliances and high prices. Shuttle service was unreliable during busy times, causing inconvenience.

Living in those dope two-bedroom rentals was clutch, with fully furnished kitchens where we cooked up a storm before hitting the Links Golf Course and scoring like pros! The Beach Club vibes were epic, and the Village of Baytowne Wharf had lit nightlife that had us turnt all night!
Wish there were more lit party spots for us young peeps to chill and turn up after dark. Peace out!

Exploring the 2,400-acre resort felt like a treasure hunt for our family, with surprises around every corner at the Village of Baytowne Wharf. The breathtaking views of the bay from our balcony and the endless stretches of beach provided the perfect backdrop for making unforgettable memories.
My wife says that clearer signage for families with children is needed.

Loved having everything in one place , restaurants, beach, pool, and gym all within reach. The shuttle service was a great perk, making it easy to get around the property and to the private beach. The property's beauty really stood out, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was convenient to have ample parking available, ensuring a stress, free stay.
The dated furniture and lack of amenities like a jacuzzi were disappointing. The subpar bathroom facilities, including a problematic sink, underwhelming shower, and low, quality toilet paper, detracted from the overall experience.

Our stay at this resort was pure relaxation and enjoyment. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing everything we needed for a stress-free stay. The highlight of our experience was the beautiful view of the bay, which added a peaceful element to our vacation. And let's not forget about Sandy, the automated assistant, who was a delight to interact with. The friendly staff, shops, and restaurants made our stay even more enjoyable. We're already planning our next trip back!
Slow response for towel requests.
